Coaching?
Most investors blindly trust their advisors or the media (magazines, newspapers and television) for help with their investments. This information tends to be biased, and is designed to sell investment products rather than create peace of mind for the investor. What benefits mutual fund companies, insurance companies and banks doesn’t always benefit the investor.
As an investor coach, I help investors cut through the rhetoric that is running rampant out there. In order to improve the likelihood of success, I teach my clients to implement a method of portfolio management, backed by decades of award winning academic research, and used by many corporate pension plans today that are subject to prudent investor standards.
I reject the common myths of investing, most often promoted by the brokerage and financial planning industry. Instead, I guide clients through a program that not only educates, but ensures the necessary steps are taken toward reaching their investment goals.
I am also compensated by a fee (based on total assets) and not commissions, to help give clients confidence that any advice given is unbiased, and not tied to commissions that may be generated by selling a financial product. This way, my motivation is the same as my clients. If my clients make more money, I make more money. Fair play is the only way to keep everyone working toward the same goal.
My coaching program is designed for investors who are tired of putting blind faith in their financial advisor or planner, and are ready to learn. My goal is to help clients gain understanding and take control of their own financial destiny.
